Preparing for Adulthood
The Preparing for Adulthood programme (PfA) is funded by the Department for Education.
It seeks to help young people with Special Educational Needs and disabilities to have equal life chances as they move into adulthood. For example: paid employment, housing, independent living, choice and control, community inclusion, friends and relationships.

St John’s catholic school is in Boston Spa. The school provides day and boarding school for hearing impaired pupils aged 3 to 19 and is a specialist school for sensory and physical impairments.
