Personal Budgets and Personal Assistants
Leeds City Council has produced a range of booklets to help people better understand personal budgets and the option of having a personal assistant.
Anyone, aged 18 or over, who is eligible for social care support, can have a personal budget. One of the benefits for personal budget holders is being able to employ a personal assistant (PA) to help you live more independently.
