Time to Shine seeks delivery partners

Leeds Older Peoples Forum (LOPF) has been awarded £6,000,000, by the Big Lottery Ageing Better: Fulfilling Lives fund, over the next six years for delivery of projects and activities that aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation in Leeds. The Leeds bid was christened Time to Shine and LOPF is now seeking Time to Shine delivery partners.

Time to Shine delivery partners will be commissioned by LOPF between January and April 2015 for activities identified in the funding bid.

The commissioning process for each activity will involve a workshop, application form and interviews (for shortlisted applicants). Free workshops have been planned to support organisations wishing to apply.

Each workshop is an opportunity to:

  • Explore the activities in greater detail and develop it into your own project;
  • Gain information about Time to Shine and the requirements of delivery partners;
  • Receive guidance on completing the application form and what happens next if you are shortlisted.

The free workshops will be held from 10am – 1pm on the following dates:

More information about each project and deadline dates for each activity stream are given on Eventbrite booking pages, so please use the links above to find out more about each project and to book a place.

NB: Attendance at the workshops is not compulsory as part of the application process but is highly recommended.

Further details

The closing date for applications is three weeks from the date of each workshop so it is recommended to start preparation in advance.

Further information about Time to Shine and the application process is available from the Leeds Older People’s Forum website.
