Supported Internship for young people who have a learning disability

Are you aged between 19 and 23 and have learning disabilities?

Would you like the opportunity to develop employment skills while you are inside a business?

People Matters and Leeds City College are working together to provide supported internships working at a social enterprise which makes and sells snacks to businesses and the public in Leeds.

You would be a Leeds City College student but gain extended work experience at the People Matters social enterprise which is based in Holbeck.

You would be supported by a job coach and gain skills which will help you find work in both shops and other businesses.

Skills you will gain include, enterprise, customer service, sales promotion, food hygiene, stock control, independent travel, money handling, product design, production and quality control.
