All new judging panel 2015 Awards

We are delighted to have a very experienced and talented judging panel for the Awards this year. All the judges are new to the panel and are:

  • Sandie Keene – who was until recently the Director of Social Services at Leeds City Council, as well as holding the prestigious position of President at ADASS (Association of Directors of Adult Social Care Services) and after retiring in November 2014 is now supporting the Local Government Agency in an advisory capacity.
  • Paul Scholey – a senior partner with Morrish Solicitors, who have been stalwart supporters of Tenfold’s work and are one of the Awards major sponsors
  • Jonathan Brown – who is the Health and Care reporter for Yorkshire Evening Post.

On being invited to join the judging panel Sandie said:

“I am thrilled to be judging these prestigious local Awards because I know that the services in Leeds are innovative and forward thinking and the Awards will assist in showcasing the best to a wider audience. Social care gets regular criticism in national news stories and yet day after day excellent support is being given by committed and dedicated carers, supporting people to enjoy the best in life and participate fully in their local community. I look forward to seeing the rich array of submissions and know it will be a hard job to choose the winners. Good luck to everyone”

If you have yet to nominate – the deadline is 7 April, 12 noon  – as all the judges are new to the panel and to the Awards, if you made a nomination in 2013, and that person or organisation is still a star in your eyes, why not update and tweak your previous nomination for this time – it will be the first time this panel will have seen it.
